Dr. Richard Rau receives Best Presentation Award at MICCAI 2019, one of the largest technical conferences on medical image analysis.
In the awarded paper "Attenuation Imaging with Pulse-Echo Ultrasound Based on an Acoustic Reflector", a novel ultrasound imaging method is proposed as a new biomarker with different potential applications, including the differential diagnosis of breast cancer.
